Espichel Skygazer…O Contemplador dos Céus
É com grande prazer que gostaria de partilhar com todos os leitores, as últimas imagens que fiz na região rochosa do Cabo Espichel, em Sesimbra. Saà para mais uma sessão de astrofotografia já com a idéia de fotografar a constelação do Escorpião, no entanto, à chegada ao local uma ligeira neblina obrigou-me a improvisar e a fazer uma alteração do alvo predefinido…a Natureza tem destas coisas. Apesar das núvens altas, uma Lua misteriosa a nascer por detrás do uma formação rochosa, conduzia-me a um momento de contemplação.
Inspirado pela beleza daquele cenário nocturno, sugeri a um velho amigo que me acompanhara, Fernando Formiga, que subisse ao penhasco rochoso e apreciasse toda aquela beleza dali….enquanto eu tentava eternizar mais um momento de comunhão entre o Céu e a Terra.
O resto da descrição, deixo-vos em inglês…..The picture above, shows the silhouette of the skygazer José Formiga, enjoying the beauty of the sky, with the moon  rising on the left in the constellation Capricornus.  He pointed his finger to the constellations of Sagittarius and Scorpius that were beginning to rise behind the  rocky cliff. In the  top left, you can see the star Altair in the constellation Aquila, as  well part of the constellation Ophiuchus, and in the right corner, the star Zubeneschamali in Libra. Entirely,  close to the center of the image can be seen the constellation  Scutum. The reflection of the Moonlight in the clouds, makes an interesting combination of blueish tones, mixed with a hidden Starry Sky .
